Music Exploration (MX) Classes
About: The Music Exploration class is a unique youth music program created to give children an opportunity to "explore" and discover their natural musicality as they engage in a rotation of various instruments. The program is designed to integrate music theory, technical instruction and team initiatives in a fun filled class of creativity and learning. A diverse, age appropriate curriculum is designed to teach music concepts which will help children transition into other instrumental classes at an appropriate age. Through the MX class, children experience a joyful "exploration" into the world of music and arts.
Practical: Instruction is given through a rotation of instruments which include bass guitar, ukulele, piano, percussion/drums, and acoustic/electric guitar. Students learn basic techniques and musical etiquette in a dynamic team setting conducive to learning the language of music.
